We have wanted to build a small house at our farm for some time and have scoured the internet looking for just what we wanted. We finally found a picture of a house that was filled with 'character', but . . . there were no blueprints available. Solex Architecture was recommended to us by a friend that had used their services. We are so pleased with our partnership with them. We gave them the picture of the house we wanted and asked them to enlarge it to the square footage that we wanted, but to make sure they kept the 'character' of the house. Two meetings and a couple of phone calls later, we have the blueprints in hand. Jeff, Kevin, and Chris were a pleasure to work with. Thank you, Solex!

My wife and I came to Solex Architecture looking to design our dream home. We needed to put our vision of what we wanted onto paper and Jeffrey was able to do that. He was able to take the aspects that we liked from different houses and mold them into our dream home. During the design process, Jeffrey was always quick to get back to me with any questions I had which I feel is very important. Our meetings were easy and it was fun during the design process to collaborate with Jeffrey and to see our home take shape. After the detailed plans were complete we were able to get accurate bids from different contractors. Working with Jeffrey and Solex Architecture was an easy and successful venture that resulted in us getting a home that is everything we wanted it to be.

After twenty years of batting around the idea of placing an elevator from the first to second floor of our church Education Building, West Main Baptist Church decided to explore the project in 2014-15. On the basis of his excellent design, I recommended Solex to West Main's Building and Grounds Committee.
Jeff Bond's design for our elevator was creative and functional. He addressed a number of complicated issues regarding placement of the elevator and traffic flow throughout our building. He oversaw the construction and looked after the interests of our church each step of the way.
Thanks to the team at Solex, West Main Baptist Church now has a first-rate, well-designed elevator that meets all the needs of our church. The elevator is beautifully integrated into our building both inside and out. Jeff Bond and the professionals at Solex did a superior job.Bruce Wilson
I would like to thank you and your organization for the services provided for our Office Conversion Project. Your organization's professionalism, quality of work and timeliness were very much appreciated by the DRBDC. Your work made the project very manageable from our perspective.
Your company will be our first choice if we need such services in the future and likewise we will recommend your company to our clients (tenants) as they prepare to move out into their own facilities. Thanks for the great work and we will look forward to having Solex Architecture working with us on any future projects.Ralph Hogg
Just a quick note to thank you and your staff for the exemplary job you did on the 442 Main Street project. I wanted a local architect to prepare the drawings and to monitor the project on an architectural basis. I asked a few of my colleagues for some names of local architects and your firm was the only one that came up time and again. Your attention to detail and your willingness to listen to my input was second to none. During the project, your ability to accept my 'field design changes' was not only welcomed but done so with an openness I have not encountered in my career of 30 plus years.
Thanks again for your assistance which made my job that much easier and definitely helped in making the 442 Main Street, Danville project successful. We will surely be meeting soon to discuss my next project.Stephen J. Staats
The Ramsey Memorial Medical Center Board built a medical facility in Gretna in the 1950’s, and by 2012 we realized that we needed a new facility. We wanted to keep our location on Main Street in Gretna, but the size of our lot provided a challenge in getting everything we wanted in our building and leaving adequate space for parking.
We appreciate the excellent work you did for us in designing the building and meeting our varied needs so well. The 5,000 square-foot building provides the medical practice with a pleasant waiting area, adequate exam rooms and office space, and other specialized spaces as requested by the medical staff. Our Board members have been very pleased with the appearance of the building. It looks modern and new, while at the same time fitting in perfectly in its location on Main Street. It is a very attractive building that fits well in its setting.
Our project was funded through a grant from the Danville Regional Foundation, donations from individuals, and a loan. We worked hard to make the best possible use of our funds, and we appreciate the ways you helped us meet this objective. As we worked on this project, you were easy to contact and quick to respond and receptive to hearing and meeting our needs. It was a pleasure to work with you. I would not hesitate to call on you for any future architectural needs, and I am pleased to recommend you.Ann Brown
As CEO and Executive Director of the Danville Redevelopment and Housing Authority (DRHA) it is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Solex Architecture and Mr. Jeffrey Bond. I have been associated with Solex Architecture for almost a year. They have worked on two separate projects for DRHA. In addition, Mr. Bond has been willing to be a resource on other related architectural and engineering questions as they have come up.
In the time we have worked together, the firm and Mr. Bond have been very professional and responsive to our requests and needs. Additionally, work was begun, developed and completed in a very timely manner. Questions that came up from the DRHA staff were handled in a very short time period and we had answers that allowed us to move forward.
The completed drawings and scopes of work were certainly up to our expectations. Mr. Bond interacted very well with interested bidders on our construction work. We will certainly have a continued interest in utilizing Solex Architecture's services in the future.Gary M. Wasson
