Jeffrey Bond

Owner/Architect

Born and raised in Gretna, Virginia, Jeffrey has always been surrounded by family that enriched his values for contributing to his community and region. His passion for architecture and design started at a young age, stemming from his travels across the country and abroad, and through observing various renovation projects. To Jeffrey, architecture is the perfect blend of art and science. Starting as a simple idea in the form of a sketch, the structure eventually rises from the ground and takes on a life of its own. Buildings not only impact the lives of its inhabitants, but collectively shape our society and influence how we interact with the world.

This interest led Jeffrey to Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor in Architecture. Shortly after graduation he started as an architectural intern at Dewberry where he held positions with increasing responsibility as project architect and finally project manager. Mr. Bond opened Solex Architecture, Inc. in the fall of 2013.
